Marketing & Communications Specialist (Full Time) Are you a creative communicator who enjoys turning ideas into engaging content? Do you have an eye for design, a strong social media instinct, and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through completion? CMU Health is seeking a Marketing & Communications Specialist to help bring our people, programs, and services to life across social media, digital, print, and community channels. Working collaboratively with our Marketing Consultant and internal leaders, this position will play a hands‑on role in executing CMU Health's marketing and communications priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both the creative and operational sides of marketing from creating social content and designing materials to updating our website, photographing physicians and events, and supporting community initiatives. What You'll Do Your work will primarily focus on: 50% Social Media & Content Creation: Create, schedule, publish, and monitor engaging social and digital content; interact with audiences and use analytics to evaluate performance and identify opportunities to grow engagement. 30% Marketing & Communication Materials: Create and update flyers, rack cards, posters, brochures, provider communications, newsletters, press releases, email campaigns, and other print and digital materials. 10% Website Content: Maintain and update provider, clinic, service, location, and organizational information to help keep our digital presence accurate and current. 5% Photography & Visual Content: Capture physician and employee headshots, events, community activities, and other visual content that tells the CMU Health story. 5% Marketing Support: Assist with community events, health fairs, vendor and community partner coordination, special projects, and other marketing initiatives. You’ll also collaborate with physicians, leaders, departments, vendors, and community partners to gather information, coordinate projects, and ensure marketing initiatives are completed accurately and on time. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is creative, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day marketing projects while collaborating with others on strategy and direction. Qualifications include: Associate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, business, or a related field required; bachelor's degree preferred. Equivalent relevant marketing and communications experience may be considered. Two (2) years of relevant marketing, communications, social media, digital media, or related professional experience preferred. Demonstrated experience creating content for social media and digital platforms. Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills. Familiarity with design tools such Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with social media management, analytics, website content management, email marketing, or digital communications preferred. Photography and/or digital camera experience is a plus. Healthcare experience is helpful but not required. You’ll Be Successful Here If You... Schedule: Full-time | Exempt Department: Marketing The position may include occasional local travel and evening, or weekend work associated with community events and organizational activities.
